Can I cancel my extended warranty at any time?

Yes, you can cancel at any time. During the first 30-60 days (free look period), you receive a full refund. After that, you're entitled to a pro-rata refund minus a small cancellation fee (capped at $50 in Texas, $0 in Wisconsin and California).

How long does it take to get my refund?

Most states require providers to issue refunds within 30-60 days of receiving your cancellation request. Texas requires refunds within 46 days. If they miss the deadline, many states impose penalties.

What F&I products can I cancel?

You can typically cancel extended warranties, GAP insurance, tire and wheel protection, paint protection, key replacement coverage, and other dealer add-on products. Each has different refund terms based on your contract and state law.

Do I have to go through the dealer to cancel?
